Once a soybean field, this 20 acre property located on the expansive waters of Albemarle Sound was slowly transformed into a secluded piece of paradise.

Wild Blue Acres is about an hour and a half (or a 40 minute boat ride) from the Outer Banks, and an hour from Norfolk, Virginia. We named the property Wild Blue because she represents us; a little wild and unruly, but full of life and love.

The blueberry field sits on 3 acres and hosts a variety of blueberries, which ripen at different times throughout the summer season. They are mature bushes, some at least 18 years old.

The berry field is currently going through a multi-year renovation process, as it had been left unmanaged for many years.

We open for U-Pick during the months of June-August.
